Entry Requirements for the JCU Psychology Degree (A Levels / IB Diploma) | 2020 Minimum Entry Requirements

Sick and tired of navigating through tons of pages and links just to find the entry requirements for a degree programme on the JCU Singapore website?

In this post, I share with you the cut off points for the Bachelor of Psychological Science offered by James Cook University Singapore for 2020.

GCE ‘A’ Levels (Singapore)

Minimum Points: 5.5

Point Calculation

H2 Subjects: A = 5, B = 4, C = 3, D = 2, E = 1

H1 Subjects: A = 2.5, B = 2, C = 1.5, D = 1, E = 0.5

H3 Subjects: Not calculated

Entry points are calculated based on a combination of the best 3 H2 level subjects or combination of H2 and H1 level subjects. H1 subjects are counted as half of H2 subjects.

GCE ‘A’ Levels (Cambridge)

Minimum Points: 5.5

Point Calculation

A Level Subjects: A* = 6, A = 5, B = 4, C = 3, D = 2, E = 1
AS Level Subjects: A* = 3, A = 2.5, B = 2, C = 1.5, D = 1, E = 0.5

I provide 3 examples on how to calculate the points based on your H1 or H2 grades.

International Baccalaureate (IB)

Minimum points: 24

Point Calculation

Points are based on total score stated on IB Diploma certificate.
